One of my most favourite picnic spots in the world-- Niagara Falls

God has been really kind to me to give me the opportunities to see the most beautiful places of the world at a very tender age. When i was studying in second std at Pune, my dad was assigned  an International project at the US.... the ultimate place of the world. So we accompanied him there.... I was very much excited on the day we moved to the States,  as i was travelling for the first time by  the international flight...Still i remember the date of my travel... It was 7th Jan, 2007.I had  thoroughly enjoyed my flight journey. After 22 hours of flight journey, finally we landed at the Raleigh International airport, the place where we stayed.. My dad's friend had come to come to the airport , to receive us.. He also offered us lunch... Then in the next day morning, my dad took us to kingswood school. the school where i studied for few years.. I was surprised to know that in the USA, they wont charge for primary and secondary education in the school.. The school looked like a resort. It was a centrally airconditioned school.. Within few days, i got used to the new atmosphere, friends, the american style english etc..In my stay at the States, my dad took us to some important places in the east coast..In my second standard vacation, my dad took us to the Niagara falls....................It was across the Niagara River from Niagara Falls, Ontario (also a city), both named after the famed Niagara Falls which they shared. It was part of both the Buffalo–Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Western New York region.I would  never forget going to Niagara Falls! It was so much fun!!
The waterfalls themselves were spectacular, took my breath away! Absolutely awesome........
In the evening they would light up the falls with all different colors. We also visited  the Maid of the Mist. We went to the front of the boat. It was so beautiful... words just couldn't describe!!!! I think that was the highlight of our trip!

Visiting Niagara Falls from American side  was an awesome adventure and I would do it again in a heartbeat!!
